 A little bit about me...
Music has always been my passion, ever since I used to wander around the house singing ABBA's "Thank you for the music" at the age of four! I am intrigued by the power of music to change a mood or an atmosphere; the ability it has to lift people's spirits, to either energise or relax, and to communicate a message or feeling; taking it deeper than that which words alone can convey. To me, music is one of the greatest gifts that God has given to mankind. In turn I want to use the gift of music to bring healing, hope, rest, inspiration and a deep awareness of Him to the world. Whether that be through a song of adoration or an instrumental piece, a song written for a friend or a documentary soundtrack...that is my dream.
I have worked with Youth With a Mission since 1995, spending a few years being based out of England before moving to Switzerland in 2002. My work has taken me to many different countries, including Albania, India, Kazakstan and New Zealand. Here in Burtigny, Switzerland, I'm part of the Communication and Mobilisation team and I also work and record in my home studio. I lead worship, write worship songs, compose music for documentaries on injustice issues, travel to churches and events to either teach or lead worship, and help with the day to day running of our training centre.
